Mark has over 32 years of experience in the field of telephony. As senior field technician for three other interconnect telephone companies prior to forming Charter Oak Telephone, LLC, he has taken the best of this acquired knowledge, along with his genuine concern for others to drive the business to where it is today - one that is well respected and successful. We pride ourselves on integrity and providing the best possible service and solutions to our customers. We appreciate the special needs of our customers and will go to any extreme to prove it. We maintain a Connecticut Limited Electrical Contractors License registered with the State Department of Consumer Protection with annual Continuing Education for Electricians courses provided by Tunxis Community College in Bristol, CT. We are also certified with The Occupational Safety and Health Administration as having completed a required 10-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in General Industry Safety and Health. With regard to our certifications and experience with different product lines, we are certified and/or have extensive installation and maintenance experience with the following systems. NEC's Univerge SV8100, UX 5000, Aspire, i-series, DSX series, DS series and all former associated Nitsuko systems. Nortel's BCM 50, MICS 0X32, CICS 0X16, Norstar 8X24, and 616 KSUs. Vertical Communication's SBX IP320, Comdial and Vodavi products. Avaya's Partner ACS, Merlin, IP Office and Spirit systems. Mitel's SX50, SX200 and SX2000 systems. Iwatsu Adix VS systems. Our voicemail system experience is with all the above manufacturers' systems to include all IntraMail and UltraMail systems, all Nortel systems including the Norstar Applications Module, CallPilot and all Startalk systems, Partner mail and Partner Messaging and all associated Mitel VM products. We have paging and background music experience using Bogen, Valcom, and Viking products. These to include speakers, amplifiers, volume control boxes, tone/break oscillators, zoning units and many other interface units to accommodate our clients needs. For the past 25 years, we have been installing low voltage cabling for all aspects of communications, to include: *Category 3, 100 pr., 50 pr., 25 pr., and 4 pair cable for between floors in high rise office buildings, OWR (buried and suspended) for connection between buildings and as IDF and station cable within a given area. *Category 5, 5e, and 6 wiring for network backbone and horizontal station wiring (phone and data) Multi-mode fiber for interface backbone between buildings. Stranded 2 and 4 pair for public address, paging, and music systems.
