We had water leaking in the basement floor and thought it was due to a faulty sump pump. However, upon careful inspection, it was from our 14 yr old water heater that needed to be replaced! We texted 3 different plumbing companies to get estimates. Benjamin Franklin Plumbing was the first to respond back within minutes of the inquiry via Thumbtack so we went BFP. They definitely live up to their motto of being responsive and punctual. Chris Bloomfield came out to assess the situation and confirmed that it was not the sump pump but the water heater. He contacted the office immediately after going over the costs with us and giving us three different options to choose from. We chose the water heater with a 6 yr warranty with the company. On the same day, Everton Russell and Ami Pineda came out to install the new water heater. Ami explained how to control the temperature of the water heater. Both technicians worked quickly and removed the old water heater safely out of the basement. We appreciated Benjamin Franklin Plumbing’s professionalism when it came to communication by texting us a detailed description of each person who would be coming out to the house and when they would arrive. The communication also gave a brief background of each of the service technicians as well. BFP sent a thorough breakdown of the costs with pics via email. We are very satisfied with the new water heater and will be seeing BFP each year for the annual flush & checkup as part of the warranty. Thank you BFP for your responsiveness, quality and professionalism!

Had some initial misunderstanding about pricing that was resolved after a call with the owner, who was very understanding and flexible.
