Clean/efficient/trustworthy/good craftsmanship/affordable I am usually a tough guy to please, but I have no complaints. We had a bedroom door widened and french doors put in in its place. Mike was flexible and fast in terms of his ability to come by the house, take a look at everything, and write up an estimate. We decided to hire him as he was personable, thorough, professional, and affordable. He was able to start the job very soon and completed everything quickly, working while we were at work so there was no stress of construction. Each day when he left, he left the work area spotless and hazard free. I never saw one piece of dust or debris left behind by him. The final product exceeded our expectations. Mike took the care to match the trim work on the inside of the room with the trim on the other doors and windows in that room and the trim work on the outside to match that room. We did not ask him to take this extra step but he did it because he knew it would look better, and it does. He also installed a solid wood threshold/transition between the rooms (one is hardwood and the other carpeted) because the existing hardwood in the transition was a little messed up. Again, we didn't ask him to do this, but it made the final product look so much better. With all of the extras, Mike still remained at his quoted price when the job was done. No hidden or added costs, no hastle. We will be hiring Goodman Building Company again for all of our needed carpentry jobs.

Michael did an amazing job fixing up various projects around our house. He was very fair in his estimate and even finished all the jobs quicker than anticipated. I definitely hope to use his services again in the near future. I've used other contractors in the past but none match his level of detail and responsiveness.

Mike and his assistant fixed the gaps in my vinyl flooring (and replaced a cracked tile), installed new track lighting in my living room and fixed my ceiling fan. I was missing a part I needed for the track lighting and without hesitation, he sent his assistant out to get me the part I needed. I really appreciated that. I am very pleased with the work they did for me; they were professional, accommodating and I would definitely use them again!
