I first hired Tom to clean my father's condo. He did an amazing job! His handyman skills were also instrumental in rehanging a closet shelf that had fallen and created a big mess. He was able to remove some cabinetry that we wanted taken away, too. When I realized I needed a considerable amount of trash hauled away from the site, Tom was there in a matter of hours. He and his family saved me mountains of stress and are so kind and professional. I recommend Behrendt's Best for all of your needs.

We haven't yet used Tom but are looking forward to having him complete several projects in our new home. He was incredibly professional, courteous and dedicated and quoted us competitively for a variety of home improvement projects including relaying laminate flooring in our basement, doing a comprehensive basement clean up, and painting interior and exterior portions of our house. We are happy to have found a reliable handyman and highly recommend Tom based on his references and our initial impression of him and his business.

Tom was originally hired to fix my garage door. He was punctual, seemed to really understand the problem and was able to fix it in a timely manner. After completion of the job he followed up to ensure that things were working properly. He is definitely someone I would use for future projects and someone I would recommend to anyone.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Typically for a new customer, I like to be very personable. I understand that the world we live in today is full of negativity, so I like to be a little bit of the positive that shines through! For most jobs, they will be done in a couple hours, maybe a full day maximum. But for the bigger jobs that can potentially take multiple days to complete, I aim to show my customer I am a hard working person that goes above and beyond to make my customers happy, and that I am a trustworthy person, and can be trusted working in/on/around their home without them being there.
