Sarah from One Fine Day was excellent! She not only orchestrated the agenda of my baby shower, but also provided the decorations. She worked wonderfully with my mom who had chosen the venue, as well as with the staff of the venue. She transformed the cozy room of a great restaurant to portray a classy nautical theme for our party of about 20 people. The tables were beautifully decorated with such detail. Little Lanterns with candles, starfish, sailboats, and navy blue accents adorned the room. She even set up a lovely lemonade table. Our guests had many compliments. Sarah coordinated a baby shower just how I imagined - elegant and intimate! Everything ran so smoothly; I would highly recommend One Fine Day to organize your event!

My fiancé and I got as far as picking our wedding date before realizing we were going to need a lot of help with the planning and executing of our wedding. We had our hearts set on having our reception in a large beautiful building from 1802 that was not a wedding venue at all. It was simply an empty building making the whole process that much more complicated. Sarah Parlos came highly recommended from a co-worker who had recently used her services. I hired Sarah Parlos for her “Day Of” wedding coordination package as well as her “Wedding Décor and Design Package”. I originally spoke with her in June 2014 and from that day until the wedding (May 2015) she was always readily available whenever I had any questions or concerns. Sarah really listened to what I wanted the reception hall to look like and made my thoughts and dreams into a reality. Her sense of style and decorating skills are truly outstanding. She did things I wouldn’t have even thought were possible. Whenever I had a concern she took the time to address it. She even started decorating the hall a few days early so my fiancé and I could look at a few design elements we were iffy about before the big day (of course we should have just trusted Sarah because everything was amazing). The amount of compliments I got on how beautiful the reception hall was, was overwhelming. As if making the building beautiful was not enough, Sarah also upheld her duties as the “Day Of” coordinator. From ushering people into the reception hall after cocktail hour to reminding my husband and I when it was time to cut the cake, she was on top of it. A month prior to the event she got all the vendors information and did all the final verifications! She handed out the vendor tips, made excel spreadsheets for the day of schedule and emailed everyone involved a copy, she touched base with the members in the wedding party, etc. The list really is endless. I had not one worry about anything the day of our wedding and Sarah Parlos played a huge role in that. I would highly recommend Sarah for anyone who’s planning a large event and needs some help. She’s upbeat, easy to get along with, and seems to truly care about her clients and their needs.

    We typically exchange a few emails to get the basic details of the wedding. If we have the date available on our end, we'll set up a phone, Facetime or in person meeting with the potential client to go over their needs and learn about their vision.

    We regularly work with Brides, Grooms, Business Owners, Family Members & Friends who are planning special celebrations for loved ones. Our main focus is on Wedding Planning (Partial + Full) , Event Planning (for any celebrations/special events) & Floral Design.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    We strongly advise that every customer researches the company + their advertised services (including end product) before hiring. It's important that you read reviews, look at their website and speak with them to see if you are a good fit. Don't put down a deposit or sign a contract unless your confident in their ability to perform the services promised.
