Deanna Dewey, originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, now servicing clients in NYC, CT, (tri-state area) and the San Francisco Bay Area with home renovations, full-service interior design, and home staging. Her enthusiasm for interior design is fueled by her experience as an interior stylist as well as market editor for magazines such as Better Homes & Gardens, Allrecipes Magazine, and producer for Eddie Ross's most recent design book, Modern Mix. Deanna's eye for design allows her to capture the most timeless pieces in vintage and antique design and mix it with the chicest pieces of today. She seeks to find beauty in the unusual and incorporate it into a universally-pleasing design fitting for her clients and their lifestyle needs. Deanna is also a talented set designer and art director, working on film sets since 2008. She's created full set concepts and managed production design, often creating props and sets from scratch. Deanna is passionate about film work and enjoys delving into the psychology behind each character's story which allows for a more detailed and accurate set design; ultimately transferring to a more intimate viewing experience for the audience.

Deanna has such a great eye for color, design and detail. She listened to what I wanted, what I was comfortable with and my constraints and presented me with a variety of options that were comfortable yet surprising and inspiring. I love the way she presents her ideas. She juxtaposes objects, colors, and textures in a way that lets me visualize the end goal in a way I’ve never been able to do on my own. I’ve worked with Deanna to create two different spaces in my home, and each time she’s created design plans that have made me excited and inspired, but also comfortable and like my space was still my own.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To get the conversation started we start with a discovery phone call to see if we are a good fit. After the discovery phone call we will then meet in person or remotely for an hour consultation $120. Depending on the scope of the project it may run longer. During this meeting I will learn all I can about the project and your dreams for that space. After the consultation I will provide you with a detailed proposal for my design time and cost.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with small businesses, single individuals as well as growing families.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
It is extremely helpful to know your project budget. This way I can develop a proposal to best suit your goals within your realistic budget.
