Tutor To Your Star

About Tutor To Your Star

Every student has the potential to shine. I teach each individual child learning strategies that prepare him or her to complete homework, prioritize and breakdown projects, manage time, and improve their academics by building on the basics. I have been teaching children for the past 15 years in diverse environments and a variety of grades.

I am a CT certified teacher, newly retired from teaching middle school with children who "learn differently". I am fondly known by many students as Mrs. Cookie. One young lady now in 10thth grade has been happy to meet with me weekly since 4th grade to keep her math skills sharp. I tutor middle school, from 5th to 8th grade, in math, language arts and sciences.

I have some after-school hours available and 1 Saturday morning slot. Request for resume and references are welcome.

Please call, or e-mail, so that we all can meet at your local library to discuss a mutually beneficial relationship.

The teacher who listens learns from the student. Thank you.
