Having Dan do my deck was the best choice made. He communicated everything up-front, during and at the end. He is a very hard worker. He will be back in the future for me to do additional jobs! Thank you Dan! You are amazing and now a friend!

We were looking for someone to repair the exterior of our back porch that had become damaged and rotten over the years from the rain/snow and from squirrels ripping into it. Dan replaced the wood panels and then repainted the entire porch. The quality of his work was good and his price was fair. He also painted our garage door as a courtesy with the remaining paint, which was nice and unexpected. My only issue is that the job was not finished on time as promised for our event due to rain, and when our guests came the materials were left out on the porch and we had to move it ourselves. Overall, it was a good experience and I would recommend his services.

We contracted with Dan to work on a shed. Dan was very knowledgeable in identifying what needed to be done. Our shed was 35 years old; the side sheathing had to be replaced and it needed a new roof. Little did we know that half of the shed had to be torn down because of rot. He rebuilt half the shed and added an additional 8 feet. Dan was wonderful and easy to work with; he was experienced in his ability to complete the job and skilled in maneuvering around the mess that he took on. He was conscience about not wasting materials and knew exactly what was needed to complete the job. I would highly recommend Dan as a carpenter and would definitely hire him again for any future projects.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I offer free in-person quotes to ensure the most accurate pricing for each job. I always strive to provide the best possible price and believe in honesty and transparency—I’m here to offer fair rates for quality work.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My typical process for working with a new customer starts with reaching out through Thumbtack first to establish initial contact. From there, I prefer to connect via a valid phone number to discuss the details further. However, I always aim to see the job in person for the most accurate assessment, as photos alone don’t provide the full scope of the work needed or any potential challenges that may only become apparent once I start the job.
