Introduction: Very reliable, leave an activity sheet after each visit, which includes arrival and departing time. I spend an hour at each visit, which is quality time. I do not sit and watch your TV or do personnel business during this time. My total focus is on your pals. Other walkers have told me they do these things but I think that's unethical I love all animals, they do not judge you , they just love you for who you are!!! When I go to a clients home and open the door I am met with tail wags, licking my face, what can be better than that!!!!

Paula took care of my 5 cats and 2 dogs for a week while I was on vacation, spending an hour at each visit, giving attention to each animal, and doing all the little extras I asked of her- bringing in the mail, scooping the cat litter box, and watering my plants. She even went above and beyond by replacing a burned out lightbulb, and picking up birdseed for my outside feeder when it ran out. She left detailed report cards every day, and everybody was happy and healthy when I returned home. It made a big difference being able to leave my pets at home and not have to worry about them. Paula was great!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a meet and greet at the new clients convenience. At that time I get to know their pals as well as their owners. I tell the owners I am a member of PET SITTERS INTERNATIONAL, insured and also bonded. I also give them multiple reverences. I convey to them that I leave an activity letter after each visit which details exactly what happened during the visit. For example, how many #1's and how many #2's the pal did and if we played ball or went for a walk ext.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a retired radiological technologist and I specialized in Mammography. After 38 years in that profession I decided it was time to do what I always wanted to do. My love of animals, all kinds, led me to start my own dog walking and pet service business!! I love every minute of it!!
