- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Honor Movers is a professional, federally governed moving company where our fees are strictly regulated. We’ve conducted our due diligence and feel as though our pricing is extremely fair for the professional quality service we offer our customers. We will not cut corners or conduct business in a way that may put your possessions at risk.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a potential customer submits a request in Thumbtack, Honor Movers provides a quote with an hourly rate. Once a customer contacts us to discuss the project, we can schedule time to come to your home and provide an in-home estimate (more accurate) or we can do an estimate over the phone or via email (though this is less accurate).
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Honor Movers has 2 former military employees that have lengthy logistical experience from the US Army and Marine Corp. They are both retired from the State of Connecticut where they have numerous years of managerial experience and fine-tuned organizational skills. Honor Movers is a member of the American Moving and Storage Association and both employees are presently enrolled in professional development courses through them.
