- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I regularly attend seminars and webinars as well as stay up to date on the current research. I also belong to several professional organizations.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Anyone can legally give nutritional advice in CT, so do some homework. Make sure they have a degree in the nutrition field and check to make sure that it is from a legitimate school. That was one thing I made sure of when I was looking for nutrition programs. I chose an accredited university so my clients could trust that I received a good education.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew more about how nutrition can help so many diseases and disorders - it's not just about weight loss!
