When I walk into a home I listen carefully to what the customer has in mind for their project. Once the client has shared their ideas with me I step back and envision the space in all different layouts, walls, windows, doors, lights, etc. Then I combine those concepts with the customers vision and share some of my favorite ideas with them. Together we begin to see the potential of there home. After the project has begun and I'm on site working I always try to keep the mentality that I'm working on "my own house" and I construct and craft things as if they will be in my house, and I'll be the one staring at them every time I wake up or come home. I find these approaches to be most effective in winning the customers approval and appreciation. I love traveling Connecticut and meeting new people. The first meeting can sometimes be pretty awkward, your total strangers. However after taking on a large scale home renovation together your like old friends. I appreciate my clients, they help support my family, and I improve their most valuable asset, their home. I've really built some great relationships with some of my clients, it's a great feeling!
