I was put in contact with Walt Jedziniak through a request I submitted by Thumbtack. I was looking for someone to make a studio portrait of my two twenty-something sons. I had a pretty specific idea in mind for the resulting images I desired. Before committing to an appointment, we exchanged several emails with options, ideas, and sample images. Walt was willing to communicate in any way to reach an understanding of what I wanted and was clear about what he could provide. So, I set up an appointment several months in advance for a time when my family would be gathering for the holidays. Walt kept in touch with me periodically and addressed any issues that arose about timing, groupings, and any small details that came up. He changed times for me multiple times. We had a very successful family shoot that ended up including eight family members in a variety of combinations. We have seen the results and are very pleased with them and know they will be cherished family possessions. I can't emphasize how thoughtful and helpful Walt was in this process. He asked for information ahead so he could plan the groupings and be ready to shoot them. He answered my every question and concern thoroughly and accurately. He gave good advise when I asked for it. He was flexible and accommodating in every way and his main goal was always to provide the exact product I wanted. I couldn't have asked for more. He is not only a good photographer but also a good businessman and a nice person in general. I highly recommend his services.

Walt is an amazing man. He meet us at night in 35 degree weather to snap photos of our engagement. Our plans worked out perfect and so did the pictures he took. Amazing experience all around!!!! The hardest part will be choosing the pictures we want...seeing they are all great. Thanks again Walt and we will need you for our wedding.

I really wanted a boudoir photoshoot so I searched on Thumbtack and Walt immediately stuck out to me. He emailed me many details on what the boudoir shoot would be like as well as the pricing. No other photographer gave that much detail. Upon booking, Walt contacted me several times to go over what I wanted and was comfortable with. He answered all of my questions the same day I asked him. The photoshoot took place at his at home studio which did throw me off a bit, but I felt 100% comfortable in being there. He asked me over and over if I was okay, if I needed anything, what I was interested in, etc. He took his time, and the whole thing lasted about three hours. I did not feel rushed at all. My photos were ready to be looked at within two weeks, and he spent as much time as I needed for choosing the best product for my husband. He even offered to do a payment plan for me! Overall my experience was wonderful and I am happy to have chosen Walt. I am sure I will use him again in the future.

Walt is a true professional and a masterful artist; I recommend his services without reservation. Admittedly, when I first decided to try out some boudoir/pinup photography as an anniversary gift to my husband, I was a bit uneasy: would it feel awkward? Would my own vision for the shots come alive through the photographer's lens? Perhaps most nerve wracking was the query: will my husband even like the photographs? Like most women, my frame lends itself to parts in which I am confident and others in which, well, not as much! I was hoping a photographer would be able to accentuate my "assets" and perhaps downplay areas in which I was less comfortable showcasing on film. Walt Jedziniak allayed each and every one of these concerns over time, and produced a batch of pictures that were stunningly impressive. Upon our first phone conversation, Walt spent nearly an hour going through the different package options with me, asking thoughtful questions to get an idea of what I was looking for, and answering questions with regards to studio setup, hair/makeup, and wardrobe. Most importantly, Walt spent this time putting me at ease and I became increasingly more eager to complete the shoot with him and present my husband with the session's outcome. During the session, Walt was patient and supportive, and he demonstrated the utmost creativity through his posing, wardrobe, and lighting suggestions. Ultimately, I selected a gallery photo book for my husband and he adored every shot! The book has become a frequent page-turner for my husband and, for me, it has served as a memento of the incredible fun I had in session! Walt's professional, creative, and unique approach to boudoir photography exemplify his passion for this craft. Both the product of this experience (the photo album) and the process to accomplish it (our session) have exceeded all initial expectations! If you're considering a boudoir shoot, Walt won't disappoint!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a basic pricing structure. However, we recognize the needs of each client is different. Thus, we pride ourselves in being able to adapt to client needs and customize our sessions to meet those specific needs for products and services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I ask alot of questions! I find out what they are looking for in a photo session. That enables me to offer the most creative alternatives, and to be able to guarantee their satisfaction with the products we produce.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a member of both the Professional Photographer's of America (PPA), and the Connecticut Professional Photographers Association (CTPPA). Through these great organizations, I continue to receive learning and education in the photography field.
