Marie is the best. If you want to feel comfortable and supported in your own skin while being constantly inspired to push past what you expect your limitations to be, Marie is the best person to work with. I am a flaky gym member and Marie was there for me 100%. She would text me before workouts to encourage me, remind me of awesome classes I could attend outside of our personal sessions, and introduce me to other people working on goals similar to my own. Marie is an inspiration and makes it her goal to inspire others as well. What makes Marie so special is her dedication. I don't know her that well personally, but on Instagram everyday it never fails that I see a post by her, whether it be the workout she just completed or the delicious healthy meals she prepares. I started my journey to weight loss and fitness with Marie two weeks ago. Since then we have met twice each week, and she has also provided me with specific workout plans for an additional 4 days out of the week. I also received a very helpful grocery list and 1200 meal plan. During these last two weeks, I have felt better than I have in a while. I have already seen significant changes in the strength of my body, as well as physical changes. I have since lost about 7 pounds and I look forward to even more progression. Im a mature woman who trained with Marie for 3 months and I can honestly say that I'm in the best shape Ive been in since I was 40 thanks to Marie. She is professional and truly practices what she preaches and is a real motivator. She knows just how and when to encourage and when to push, though never over doing it. Marie is such an inspiration! Not only did she come very far in her own weight loss journey she continues to inspire others. Especially me! I like that Marie understands what it's like to be overweight and she is understanding of everyone's weight loss needs but also your fitness level. Although she is understanding, she is always VERY willing to push you farther than you think you can go. She really, truly believes in you and your potential. Her classes are honestly the most fun and challenging classes that I have ever participated in! - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We typically begin with an FMS (Functional Movement Screen) to see where the client is. The FMS is a series of movements/assessments conducted to help both the client and Coach see how they move in order to creat the best program as well as corrective exercises if they have any limitations for exercising.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am a Certified Functional Strength Coach (CFSC) Certified Personal Trainer And a Certified USAW L1 Olympic Weightlifting Coach
- What types of customers have you worked with?I generally get clients looking for help with weight loss and toning and clients looking to improve their physical abilities be it running races or just for everyday activities.
