Steve was very responsive and did a great job. He explained what needed to be done, and offered a less expensive option to correct and fix one of the projects. He provides professional work and prices are very reasonable. Would definitely hire him again for handyman projects.

I contacted them to change my windows. Steve agreed to do the work, however when I asked him for his license and insurance he started making excuses and told me that his license is in the process of being reviewed. He kept me on hold for a month and then pointed me to Allison who just said that they will get back to me when their license is available and then do the work. It’s been almost 2 months they didn’t get back to me. Completely unprofessional and cannot trust them. Also they got me a quote for the window which was almost 50% more the price as compared to what my contractor got it for. If they don’t have a license and don’t want to do the work they should be honest about it upfront. Wasted more than a month giving false hopes. Stay away!

Steve replied immediately to my request to find and install an outdoor railing to my patio stairs. He agreed to meet me on a Sunday to firm up the price. He understood what I wanted and the work was completed within a week at a very reasonable price. I will use him again and again.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I come from 3 generations of craftsmen in my family. My grandfather was a retired master carpenter. I followed him from the shop to the house "helping" him while he worked on projects at our house.I was always interested in how things went together and came apart. I also, liked to see what made things work. Taking apart things was easy, putting them back together was a little tougher at first. But I learned quickly and watched as all sorts of trades men worked at our house. And I asked lots of questions. By the time I was 12, I was helping to repairs around the house and neighborhood. They rest as they say is history.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I have worked with customers in all different areas. Residential, retail, industrial;health care;non profit;religious; historical properties I tend to take on the projects others dont want to handle because you have to think out of the box to problem solve issues. It takes careful thought, planning and an ability to adapt and adjust when things are non conforming to today's building standards and codes.
