Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: It's all about telling your story in TV and radio ads; corporate and web video presentations; on-hold messages and IVR prompts; infomercials, training and e-learning; and even talking greeting cards. A few of my credits include Nordic Track, Sunny D, Michelin, Little Allergies, IBM, and Siemens. In addition to the videos posted here on Thumbtack, please please visit my YouTube channel, PeterDrewVoiceovers, to see and hear a selection of TV ads and presentations I have voiced. For a selection of articles I've written on the art and craft of voice overs, including tips for producers and copywriters, please Google "Peter Drew Voiceovers" and visit my website. In addition to voice overs, I offer editing to create finished audio, full audio production, copywriting, and copy punch up, all at equitable rates. My professional private studio is equipped with a phone patch to accommodate your direction and monitoring of the recording. I look forward to the opportunity to bring your copy to life! "In my 20+ years of audio post-production and voice over recording, I have worked with many voice over artists. When I encountered Peter Drew, I knew I had a real find. Over the years, I have enjoyed a mutually profitable relationship with Peter, who never fails to deliver. He is directable, available, and affordable -- all qualities that set this independent voice talent apart from the competition. If you need a unique, distinctive and versatile voice, Peter is your man." -- Shaun M. Mullins, owner of Propellerhead Media

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It all depends on the voice-over your trying to cast. For a radio or TV commercial, a distinctive voice with a read that gets attention is usually a good thing. For the narration of a documentary, a voice that doesn't draw to much attention to itself is important, while at the same time having the ability to convincingly tell the story and hold the listener's attention. It's not just what you say with your copy, it's how you say it. The voice talent you cast should have the experience and chops to take your direction and deliver an effective, compelling read.
