FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a standard pricing system for one reason...no client of mine should ever feel they are "standard". Every project is unique, therefore, every project needs to be examined closely and thoroughly to ensure both the client and myself are treated fairly. Granted, many jobs have similarities, but I prefer to visit each homeowner, introduce myself personally and examine the project details. It gives me a chance to get to know the client a little better and to "get a feel" for their interests, style and preferences.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Modern technology seems to become more modern by the day, therefore, keeping up with web-seminars, training courses, trade shows and licensing refresher courses, is an important and necessary step in keeping safe at work and giving the customer the quality they deserve.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I enjoyed building forts and wood-shop class as a child and during my teens, I worked for a family owned company who showed me the inns-and-outs of the construction trade. I enjoyed building, designing and remodeling from a young age and continued for the last 27 years.
