Clinger and his crew at HGT flooring were a pleasure to work with. We had concerns about the floor finish holding up to foot and paw traffic because the previous finish did not. We also had several areas that had warping due to water damage. Clinger answered all of our questions and recommended a finish that will last for years to come.They worked within our schedule and replaced the water damaged floor perfectly in just about 3 hours.Because we werent doing the staircases over they had to match the color to the refinished first floor. The stain matched perfectly.One error on our part was not getting a sample of the finishing sheen. When we came home to see the finished job, it looked beautiful, but it was a satin finish which although it matched our old finish we decided we wanted it a little bit shinier.So HGT made up a sample of a semi gloss finish which we approved and they put on a top coat as soon as we were able to leave the house for a couple of days. As it was additional work HGT charged a fair amount to complete it.Clinger and the team were timely, charged a fair price, responsive, and masked off areas which significantly limited any dust in other parts of the home.We would certainly recommend them for refinishing and repairing your floors.
