Special Finishes completely gutted and rebuilt a small bathroom for us. They were in and promised to be finished in 10 days and they did just that. Once they started, they worked every day until they finished. It was refreshing to have contractors come through on their word. The work quality was excellent.

I had an extraordinary experience that continues with a very large renovation of a modern (architect's home that was neglected for decades). Ruiter and his team built a kitchen from scratch and connected to a dining room by removing a separating wal... three bathrooms, family room, new floors, new roof, new siding, replaced glass doors with very large 6 foot frames glass windows, and a host of other related projects. The master bath is a true masterpiece with spectacular views created with glass from the soaking tub and shower. About to start a massive new project - a large granite patio punctuated with a custom designed pergola and a second building (300 sf miniature version of the main house to serve as my office. Overall, the quality of the work and speed to finish was simply extraordinary.

Ruiter was great, our closing occurred one week before scheduled and he change his teams schedule around to start the job early and finished early! Special Finishes painted our entire condo, gutted and rebuilt the bathroom and installed vinyl flooring in our house, and they did this all in one week! Will definitely be calling him back for more work.

We recently purchased a new home and needed to renovate a bathroom and replace kitchen counters and backsplash. Based on Thumbtack reviews for Special Finishes we went with them and are so glad we did! Ruiter is a great guy and we had great communication from the start. He understood our vision for the project and kept us in the loop daily. He and his entire team were so friendly and punctual and their craftsmanship and work quality is incredible. Our bathroom exceeded any expectations we could he dreamed of. We kept to budget and timeline as well. I highly recommend Ruiter and Special finishes and am already planning our next project with them. I have attached pictures of the finished work
