I surprised my husband last night with the Party Van. Our driver, Jamal, was very polite and attentive, which we appreciated. However, I do have three concerns about the company: 1. Excessive calling: They called constantly, so much that I eventually had to ask them to stop. It nearly ruined the surprise for my husband. 2. Unexpected charges: When I booked the party van, I was given an all-inclusive price. I paid the deposit and was told the remaining balance would be due in cash at pickup. When we arrived, I was suddenly hit with an additional $300 charge that was never mentioned beforehand. I had to step away from my own event to figure out what was going on. They also tried to charge for tolls, which was never communicated to me during booking. I don’t think customers should be surprised with extra fees that weren’t disclosed. 3. Capacity issue: The van is advertised as fitting 14 people, but we had 12 and it still felt very cramped. Overall, the van itself was nice and clean, but clearer communication and transparency would have made the experience much better.

We had a great experience with our party bus rental from Sam. He was very responsive and very professional and kind when driving us to and from our location. The only thing that was a little frustrating was paying several extra fees on top of the general expense of the bus (travel time fee, gratuity up front, and the gas fee was quite hefty). I wasn’t expecting the additional fees to be that large when I received the contract, but I ended up agreeing. However, the experience on the bus was good.
