LIFESAVER. I thought Nicole would be a big help. Within an hour, it was obvious that we’d have been totally lost without her. We completely underestimated how hard it would be to unpack and organize my dad’s things after moving him into assisted living. Staring at boxes, paralyzed by decisions, totally overwhelmed -- we looked like deer in the headlights. Nicole walked in and everything changed. Suddenly the fog lifted. She’s like the human version of ADHD medication -- focused, methodical, and thinking several steps ahead while the rest of us were still trying to remember what we were doing. It felt like a multiplayer video game where one person actually knows the controls, and the rest of us are accidentally opening menus or walking into walls. Nicole was the one getting things done. She created order out of chaos, pile by pile, room by room, inventing systems on the fly that actually worked, like a librarian sorting a library that had exploded. Her energy never dipped, even when ours did. And beyond all that, she was a delight to be around: upbeat, sharp, and refreshingly down-to-earth. If you’re staring down a move, an unpacking job, or any organizational mess that feels way beyond your skill set, stop thinking and just hire Nicole. What I am presently charging is substantially lower than my usual rate and I hope they can take advantage of it.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Firstly, I ask a lot of questions about what you want to achieve by hiring me and how you will use the organized space when I’m gone. This gives me a framework of what you want because every job is unique to the client and their stuff. Once, I feel I know what is needed to provide what my client is looking to achieve I roll up my sleeves and get right to work. Sometimes the client wants to work alongside me and sometimes they want me to do it without their supervision.
