FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Private music lessons provide personalized, one-on-one instruction with a qualified music teacher. Because each lesson is customized to the individual student and reserves a dedicated time slot with the teacher, tuition remains the same regardless of how many family members are enrolled. Unlike group activities such as dance, ballet, or sports programs, private music lessons are individually scheduled and tailored to each student's goals and learning style. Throughout the year, however, we offer a variety of special promotions for new families, including discounted first-month tuition and occasional registration fee waivers.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our goal is for every student to look forward to their lessons and have an exceptional learning experience from day one. When a new student enrolls, we take the time to learn about their goals, interests, experience level, and learning style so we can match them with the right teacher. After the first lesson, we follow up by phone or text to make sure everything is going well and to answer any questions. We check in again around the one-month mark to ensure the student is enjoying lessons and making progress. We believe that open communication is the key to a successful music education experience. Throughout the year, our staff remains available to assist with scheduling, teacher recommendations, and any concerns that may arise. We want every family to feel supported and confident that they have chosen the right music school.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All teachers at Purple Deer Music have either earned degrees in their respective fields or have extensive experience teaching music lessons. Our faculty brings a wide range of professional and educational experience to their teaching. In addition to teaching privately, some of our instructors teach in schools, while others perform in theater productions, play for churches, work in music production, or perform with orchestras and other ensembles. This combination of formal training and real-world experience allows our teachers to provide students with a well-rounded and engaging music education.
