The advertisement came through as $80/hr. Tech was here under an hour And the bill was $199.41. Did I ask for explanation of the charge? No. I stuck between a rock and a hard place and didn't want to blow a gasket. Technician, Carlos was awesome- thorough, timely and polite.

Hi Mickey: I'm so sorry if there was a misunderstanding. The $80.00 per man hour rate that is noted on Thumbtack, at their urging, is an average between our cable installers and telephone technicians, with the latter being charged at a higher rate. That is why we always complete a no charge survey and provide a quote before we proceed with the job, as we provided for your project. We also have to add in travel time to all of our quotes. Customers can always decline the quoted price and there is absolutely no charge for our services at that point. The total of $199.41 also included sales tax. We wish we had known that you had an issue with our agreed upon quote before we completed the project. Again, so sorry for the misunderstanding and thanks again for your business. Rich
