FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is determined based upon the difficulty of the job, along with cost of material and estimated time needed to complete the project. We strongly recommend reaching out to other parties for estimates.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In a perfect world, all potential projects would utilize on-site walk-through with our customer in order to propose an estimate with upmost accuracy. At times and with larger projects, this is indeed our preference. With majority of cases however, we employ a variety of different ways of communication to suit our customer's needs. Texting, online chatting, phone conversations, e-mailing, image exchange, or even video conference calls are all within reach. Upon establishing a work proposal, whether for a simple lighting fixture installation or a full bathroom renovation, we establish a schedule on which the job will rely. With larger projects, a down payment (normally 30% of total cost) will be necessarily paid at the end of our first work day. We strive to continually communicate with our customers as the work continues in order to establish customer trust and satisfaction as well as retain project accuracy. Upon project completion, a final customer walk-through will be completed. If all checks are marked, we will ask for final payment. If any reasonable doubts arise after our work has been approved and completed we will happily pay our customer a visit to correct any expressed concerns.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally owned Power To The People LLC beased out of New York City which was my electrical contracting firm prior to moving to the state of CT. I have been involved in family owned construction companies ever since the age of fifteen. Once my tiny hands were capable of holding a tool, they took things apart in awe and pure curiosity of the inner workings of the world. I have attended college for electrical engineering and prior to college I belong to a project based high school which allowed for flexibility in obtaining knowledge on an individual level.
