Introduction: Hiring a personal trainer can be scary. Many of my clients were worried that it was going to be a painful process filled with judgment, soreness, and exhaustion. Your workouts will be designed specific to you and your fitness level. We will work together toward your weight loss goals as a team! Employing a culmination of functional training, cardio conditioning, interval training and corrective exercise, clients can be prepared for the unique challenges they face in their day to day lives. Many injuries occur due to de-conditioning and muscular and strength imbalances that occur over time due to repetitive movements. Using muscular testing and corrective exercise keeps you, the client safe while getting you to your goal. Helping and having a positive affect on the lives of the people i work with is the most rewarding feeling in the world! Watching the look on a clients face as they achieve goals they did not think possible; hearing how they recognize the positive changes in their health and being a part of it is both a blessing and my passion!

I have been training with Liz Frano for a number of years in person at the Arena. I was at first skeptical when Liz suggested training over Zoom when the gym closed due to the pandemic but tried it. I have been so pleased with the effectiveness and ease of training from home. While I have always been theoretically able to workout at home, I rarely did. Through the structure of a regular training session, Liz provides the same personalized service as always and motivates me in the same way she does in the gym. The monetary investment was relatively minor. I purchased four resistance bands and an attachment that allows the bands to be attached to a door. I already had some light weights and a mat at home. Liz finds workarounds for the regular gym equipment that results in truly effective workouts. I wholeheartedly recommend Zoom training. It has allowed me to stay active in a smart and safe way. I have worked with many trainers in the past and I have to say that Liz is one of the best trainers I've ever worked with. She is very patient, pleasant and is also very knowledgeable at her job. She explains everything and makes sure you understand. She has taught me so different many exercises that work multiple muscles at the same time. I am one of those people that fluctuate with my workout and I'm not always as consistent as I should be. Liz has never made me feel bad about my inconsistencies instead she continues to encourage me. She an excellent trainer and I would recommend her to anyone (male and female included).

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    Pricing can vary depending on where the client would like to train (i.e. in home, in a gym, or virtually via zoom. Also considered is what equipment the client has or if equipment must be brought to the client.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Once contacted I feel its important to touch base to discuss the clients goals and expectations, as well as past exercising and training history and any injuries either past or present that need to be addressed while training to keep the client safe.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have extensive training experience. Initially I was employed by Bally Total Fitness many years ago and worked up to becoming head trainer as well as a Tier 7 trainer. Afterward I went on to train with excellent professionals in Equinox, giving me the opportunity to benefit from the ongoing Strict education within the corporate structure. My certifications in Personal training as well as functional training and specialty certifications in TRX, Bosu, boxing, were gained during my indepentant training as well. Aquiring a position with a Rehabilitative office and working with patients on the necessary protocol for the injury being recovered enabled me to learn much more in depth and effective training methods as well as a certification in corrective exercise.
