Neal Spitzer

As a performer, I play and represent a number of music groups that perform covers and original music. Jazz, pop, funk, rock, classical, reggae and Latin are all covered. We provide a wide array of musical groups as well as individuals available for professional recordings. This includes a five-piece horn section made up of top NYC players. As an educator, I offer beginning lessons for guitar, piano, percussion, clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, and trombone. I also teach technology aimed at recording and live sound production. Arranging and theory lessons are also available. I have a performance degree from The New School Jazz Program (1993) and a master's in music education from Teacher's College at Columbia University (2005). I have successfully run the elementary band program for the Public Schools of Tarrytowns, NY, for the past 13 years.
