I need for the ThumbTack world to know why I technically did not “hire” Brad for my job. It’s because Brad is the most exceptional professional I have ever encountered on this app. He was confident that I could DIY this project, so he declined the chance to get paid for the work, saving me money. Then he shopped around for the replacement parts I needed at the best possible prices, sent me links to everything, stayed “on-call” for messages while I was replacing the parts, and gave me peace of mind that my repair was successful and I was back on track. I am so happy this guy lives in my area, and would call him in a heartbeat if I ever have a project that requires his expertise!
