FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My starting cost is $50/hour with a few additional fees for materials costs if applicable as well as transportation or shipping of the final product.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As soon as I am contacted by a client I will set up a phone call to discuss the project in more detail. After this, I am able to give a more accurate price estimate based on the amount of illustrations, style and materials needed. I will then send the client a contract outlining cost, time frame and purpose for the artwork. At this point a non-refundable $100 deposit is due. Next, I will begin working on the sketch phase. For this phase the client has up to two revision opportunities before moving to the final. Once the client has approved the sketch 50% of the total cost is due. Finally I will begin the final project. The client will have another two revision periods before officially completing the artwork. Once the client has approved of and is happy with their work, the final 50% is due.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2018, I graduated from the university of Hartford with a degree in illustration, as well as minors in art history and animation. In 2021 I became an art teacher at Norwich Free Academy and have my Connecticut teaching certification in art ed.
