- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is dependent on the length of the project and what needs to be done. I can bill by the hour or create a detailed plan for your specific project with a set fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will do a free 20 minute consulation in your home (within 15 miles) or via skype, facetime or phone where we can discuss your style goals. From there we can meet to audit your wardrobe, organize your closet, create outfits with what you have, shop together, I can shop for you(in store or online for remote clients), help pack for a trip, style a special event look, help consign/sell/donate your unwanted clothes, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for marketing but quickly realized after graduation that fashion is where I should be. After college I went to work full time in the small boutique in Westport (that I had worked in when I was in high school and college) and became a manager there. There I was able to work more closley with clients and build relationships with them. Since then I have worked at Barney's New York and a bridal boutique as well. I have been in fashion for 20 years, styling clients for every occasion.
