  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    I like to charge either by word or by project rather than by the hour. If there is research required for the project, I charge an hourly rate on top of the project fee. However, that is usually a known factor, and I estimate that upfront.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I like to talk one on one about the project and the client's expectations as well as the particulars of the project. Once in agreement with what the needs and expectations are, we can discuss time and pricing.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a degree in Journalism from California State University, Sacramento. I started my career as a journalist working for several newspapers and then as a magazine editor in NYC. When the market began to turn away from print, I went into marketing and public relations. Working for two international firms, I led the marketing, communications and advertising departments.
