Introduction
I am an on-location hairstylist and makeup artist. I’m located in Connect but I travel. I specialize in bridal, editorial and special events. I offer airbrush makeup, as well as traditional makeup. I've expanded my expertise into TV hair and makeup.
I've taken many classes from some of the top makeup artists. I have extensive training in updo styling as well.

One star is still too many. I can’t comment on her work because we never even got that far. My original hair and make up artist got pregnant (yay!) but then ghosted me (boo) about a two months before my wedding so I frantically searched for a replacement. Gabrielle was enthusiastic at first and reasonably priced so I began asking her my million bridal questions. She just yes’d me over and over telling me how great I will look but not really answering my questions. I was panicked and had a bad feeling but I confirmed twice with her that she can do my entire party, during a set time and get everyone done. Twice she agreed. Once I gave the deposit, she stopped answering me quickly, and didn’t answer all of my questions, she was more concerned with getting the deposit over anything else. I live in NJ and asked her location several times and was told everything is on site, so I assumed that meant trials as well. After I paid the deposit she told me trials were in CT, and she could only do week days. About a week after giving her the money, I asked for a day of timeline and then she began telling me there wasn’t enough time and she couldn't find someone extra to help her so last minute. I got upset but was still civil but she said, hmm I don’t think we’re a good fit to work together. I agreed and asked for my deposit back, since she was cancelling on me. She refused. Luckily Thumbtack agreed she was in the wrong and refunded me, but I don’t think the money came from her. She does not understand how to conduct business, her contact is all about how she is not at fault for any single thing, and she is just plain rude. I don’t recommend her to anyone, she is stressful to work with and honestly doesn’t really know how to plan ahead. Absolutely awful.

Straight bold faced lie. This is completely false in every single way. You have twisted the entire story. Which is fine because I have the last word. If anyone wanted to see what really happened I have every single email we exchanged. Also my location is on my profile, I travel all over for weddings so someone booking me from out of state is common. And yes they travel to me for trials if they want one. You knew that. I have more than enough work so I don’t concern myself with focusing on deposits. It’s a requirement to hold the date. Simple. When the contract is signed and the bride cancels it says the deposit is non refundable. YOU CANCELLED. Thumbtack didn’t refund your money because I have emails from them confirming I was right. Again if anyone wanted to see it, I can and would show them. I won’t continue to even waste my time defending myself because my reviews speak for themselves. I’ve been in the business for over a decade and never once had a bad review so your review has no validity. My brides are dear to me and really any client. I love seeing my clients happy. Especially on their big day. You have had two stylist not work with you and claim that it was us. It sounds more like you are just an extremely difficult person to work with.

Gabby was fantastic! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding day my hair was perfect and held throughout the night. I never wear makeup and Gabby did an amazing job giving me a natural glamorous look I’ve never felt more beautiful she was on time and so professional I recommend her to all you will not regret it!!!!!

I highly recommend Gabrielle!! She did a great job, and was a joy to work with. Gabrielle accepted this job at the last minute, showed up early, and was very personable. The bride's hair and makeup were stunning. She not only made us better looking for the wedding, but she made the day more fun.
