Introduction: I am a certified canine massage therapist. I received my certification through Holistic Animal Studies by Angel’s Animals in 2019. I am a certified member of the International Association of Animal Massage and Bodywork and a certified member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals. Not only have I been in the pet care service for many years, I have also worked in the animal hospital field for over 9 years. I started my journey into massage and bodywork in 2014, when I studied at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Newington, CT. While I love working with humans, my passion is animals. The majority of dogs I work with are seniors with arthritis issues and dogs that have had injuries or surgeries.

Love Margherita and more importantly, my dogs love her as well. She is very reliable and honest, has stayed over in my home while I'm away many times (sometimes for a few weeks) and I never have to worry about the care the "kids" are receiving. She even sends photos and emails to keep me updated while I'm away. I always contact Margherita first to see if she's available before calling any other sitters. I would not hesitate in the slightest to recommend Margherita.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer in home massage sessions for dogs. Sessions usually are between 30-45 minutes depending on dog, and are $65 per session.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first appointment is a consultation. Here we would discuss concerns, history, gait analysis, etc.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Animal first aide and cpr certified. Canine myo-manipulative functional therapy certification.
