- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices vary from roof to roof.Most of the cost comes from the square footage of the roof.Things such as the pitch, how many layers of shingles ,protrusions,wood damage,new skylights, and chimney work all contribute to the final price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first need to measure the roof.It's impossible to give a quote without seeing the roof in person.This will take about an hour.When finished we will discuss different options depending on what the customer wants and we will be able to give a price that will not change once work starts.Most residential homes take three to five days to finish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been roofing for 28 years.I was trained by two old school Italian gentlemen.There unfortunately is no school that teaches roofing.
