This was such a wonderful and positive experience with Plotline Video Productions! I was looking for someone to help me put a 90th Birthday video together for my father. Plotline did not disappoint! He added everything I wanted to make it special. From the songs I requested to the formate and special effects. I wanted it to be special and something my parents and other family members would treasure. Plotline captured everything I hoped for and so much more!! My parents have watched the video over and over and laughed and cried. If you want a profession product Plotline is your go to!! Wes recently created my wedding video. He came early to set up and was very easy to communicate with. We are overjoyed with the finished product! He delivered it quickly (two weeks after the event) and was very flexible when we had a few edits to make. Wes has a lot of ideas, and even though I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted, he was able to deliver a beautiful video that I am so happy with. Overall, Wes was super easy to work with, very responsive to messages, and flexible depending on the project.

We hired Wes to film our wedding ceremony and reception at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI on 9/26/20. Wes was great to work with. He was very responsive in all our e-communications, making sure he had a list of all the most important events to capture and that mics were taken care of in advance. He even stayed a little late to make sure we got some last shots of us playing tennis on the court. He used two cameras to capture our wedding, a handheld and a tripod camera. My one critique would be that most of the footage shot on the tripod camera was slightly out of focus, but we got some great footage from the handheld to remember our wedding by.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I’m looking for clients who will allow me to use their projects in my portfolio. I give a discount for the privilege.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet ahead of time, if possible and listen to what the client envisions. If they have favorite TV shows or movies. I get a sense of personality and motivation. If it’s a production, I like to see it first, take notes of the flow and shoot without an audience, if possible. Mostly, though, I like to listen so that the project will truly reflect the participants.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I taught theatre and video production to high school students. I’m self taught and I have a passion for my work.
