What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am always taking trainings and workshops to expand myself and my training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
I charge $85 for the first hour of any private session, and $60/hour thereafter. So a 90-minute session (most common) is $115.00
Speaking engagements are quoted as requested.
Group Breath sessions are offered on a sliding scale basis, from $45 - 95, with a $25 deposit required to reserve a spot.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found my calling when doing my Transformational Breathwork training. I knew that this process was the most powerful out there because I had tried many modalities and this really changed my life dramatically. My decision came from the natural desire to share the enormous amount of Love that I felt moving through me. When people get into a breath session, they usually become quite open to receiving the love that I have to give, and that is a wonderful experience. BTW - I define love as "Unconditional Acceptance with Gratitude".
What types of customers have you worked with?
Private sessions with individuals (adults and motivated teens)
Couples counseling with holistic-minded people
Group Transformational Breath sessions
EFT and Laughter Yoga Workshops
Holistic Health Retreats and Cruises
Public Speaking on a variety of topics
NOTE: I will travel for speaking engagements, but private sessions are done in person in Hartford, online via Skype, or by phone.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
A young woman was referred to me by a nutritionist, who had been a client years ago. The woman had been suffering from ongoing chronic fatigue and recurring bouts of pneumonia, acid reflux, and other physical ailments for several years. We found that she was totally identified with what I call "headmind"... always trying to figure everything out logically. She came in for a total of 12 weekly sessions, and when she left my care was completely reconnected with her body and feelings. She was energetic, healthy and actively creating her desired reality. There is an in-depth testimonial from her on my LinkedIn page.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be sure that you feel seen and heard by whomever you choose, and make sure they have walked their talk. If they have not accomplished in their own lives what you want to accomplish in yours, you're just setting yourself up for another betrayal by hypocrisy. I recommend having a free phone conversation before paying for a session. Ask questions and share some of what is going on for you. If you feel pretty sure that the person knows how to help you based on what they say and how you feel when they say it, book and appointment. Then decide after one or two appointments, whether to make a commitment to yourself to work with this person.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Many people think they know what "therapy" or "counseling" or "breathwork" or EFT is like, and often decide that it can't help them even before giving it a chance. There are as many kinds of therapeutic practitioners as there are people... everyone does things a bit differently. If you long to be seen and heard as the unique and special person that you are, I am probably a good choice for you. Not only will I help you understand and feel your own enormous value, I will provide you with unconditional love as we use these self-empowering tools to clear out the backlog of negative energies and beliefs that stress you out. You won't need me for long... you'll soon be able to forge healthy relationships that support your new perspective on yourself and life itself.
