FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge in-home service fees for same day repairs. Traveling over 100 miles to customer has additional fees. Discounts are given for volume yardage and pieces.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding their needs first. Then give them yardage and cost per yard. Fabric is the property of the customer and is a separate cost. Weather the fabric is theirs or purchased through me. Upholstery and supplies are my labor and new materials to repair, restructure or replace existing. Then give them a delivery time of their project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started stripping furniture to help out family while working another job as an Executive Chef in the early 90’s. To spend more time with family and less hours in restaurants. I moved forward into upholstery full-time.
