Laurent was a pleasure to work with - we came to him with only a short period of time before our wedding, but he appraised our skill and goals, and set up a plan of attack that worked perfectly and had us fully prepared for our first dance.

Laurent was amazing. Our song for our wedding was a waltz and he helped us choreograph an amazing dance sequence, we did spins, lifts, dip and it was amazing. He was great at teaching us the moves and giving us tips on where we can improve as we practiced. Also listened to what we really wanted like incorporating a lift. Highly recommend Laurent for any dance instruction.

If you have never danced before and you are nervous, don’t be! Dancing Fools provides privatedancelessons! My husband and I hired Dancin Fools to take our chosen music and come up with a dance from which to instruct. It was so much fun! A truly wonderful experience. The personal touch with instruction led to the venue where we practiced the dance we were taught until perfect and confident ! My husband and I learned how to dance! We smiled and laughed a lot during the process. Very emotional and romantic performance that night as we celebrated our 38 years of marriage and the beginning of our new journey together. Our students enjoy no hassle, easy to understand rates. You sign up for only the number of private lessons you want. Unlike other dance studios who bundle their programs leading to high prices, Ballroom Dancin Fools offers a la carte programs and no contracts. You receive lower per lesson discounts the more lessons you sign up for.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk, we meet, we dance.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner, Laurent Mullen started his career in ballet, dancing with Connecticut Ballet and New England Ballet Company for over 12 years. He began dancing ballroom professionally and opened his company Ballroom Dancin Fools in 1998. Laurent's coaches were David Rosinski, David Don and Alex Scott renown for their dance excellence. Laurent is proud to have taught over 400 wedding couples their First Dance since he opened his studios.
