Introduction

I have worked with several builders from collaborating on floor plan designs, choosing selections and finishes for model homes, and fully staging vacant model homes. I currently have a large account working as a design consultant for an award winning luxury new construction community where my role is to help customers make their selections to build their dream homes. I specialize in creating "wow" spaces using existing furnishings and accesorries while keeping within the customers budget. I am a firm believer you can make a space look like a million dollars without breaking the bank. I take pride in my work ethic, attention to detail and assuring the client is satisfied. I love seeing my clients reactions when they walk into their home for the first time after it has been designed.

Edite worked with our builder to help us design new floor plans, she was responsible for all the selections/finishes and then completely staged and decorated the homes using some furniture from old models and also shopping for new furniture. The model homes came out beautiful! The feedback was amazing and all the homes sold quickly! Edite stayed within the allotted budget and timeline. She was responsive with updates and reports. We will be using her services again for our next project!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each space and project is different, I have done small one room staging to full vacant homes and model home staging. I really need to see the space and speak to the client on their wants, style and needs before I can price the project. I offer a no cost no obligation initial consultation to determine how much involvement the client wants from me. Some clients just need some direction and will do the hands on work themselves, while others want the work to be completely done by me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial no cost no obligation consultation is the first step. I make an appointment to have the client show me the space and discuss some ideas. From there, I have a good understanding of they want and what my plan of action would be. Once I have this first consult I will then give a proposal to complete the project based on the amount of my involvement the client wants from me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold an ASP certification as an Accredited Staging Professional from CEO & trainer Barb Schwarz of Staged Home, the creator of Home Staging. I have been a licensed real estate broker for almost 30 years.
