- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Any portrait session with me has a creative fee that covers everything service-related for your portrait experience. During your image reveal and ordering session, clients can view and purchase their favorite products and/or digital images from a standard menu of amazing items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always offer to meet up in person with any new client before we schedule our session. This gives us both the opportunity to get to know each other, the clients goals for their portrait session, and take away any weirdness when we meet up for your session. Sessions are usually scheduled for a certain period of time, but I never rush a session and always do what it takes to get the best images possible. After a photoshoot with me, I take time reviewing and handcrafting the very best images for clients to review at their reveal and ordering session. These sessions are typically done at your home, my studio or someplace in between and is an exciting way to see your images and choose your products - I even bring a sweet treat to enjoy during your image slideshow! This is one of my very favorite parts of the portrait experience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The training in this industry is truly endless. I have taken both in-person and online workshops covering everything from safely posing newborns, to advanced photoshop techniques, to lighting both indoors and out. I take multiple classes each year to stay fresh and make sure I am up to date on cutting edge techniques and processes.
