FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is tough thru a media like this. Some common jobs like changing a light fixture that can be reached with a common ladder I can give a price over the phone or e-mail. More involved jobs such as new construction, central air, service changes,...ect need to be looked at in person. It wouldn't be fair to the customer or to us if we didn't come out to do an accurate estimate, which by the way I guarantee in writing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a third generation electrician. I started going out to jobs in my early teens under the guidence of my father. It was my summer job and nights and weekends after school. After I finished my time in the Air Force i came home and officially began my apprentiship. I kept working in the field an progressed through the steps untill I finally achieved my masters licence----A LONG road.
