I started working with Susan to do a closet makeover, and it was such a great experience. Susan understood my budget and was focused on helping me use what was already in my closet and building from there. Susan helped me understand what worked best for my body type, and gave me "permission" to let go of things in my closet that did not work for me. Susan and I have gone shopping together and she is efficient and effective, and it made shopping a pleasure. Susan's follow up after appointments is very timely, and the summaries and recommendations she prepares are professional. She takes her work really seriously, and truly has a client first focus. I love working with Susan, and I feel great about how my wardrobe and style have evolved since I met her.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Susan. I don't have an eye for fashion, which is why I hired her, and one of my fears was that she would put me in things I wouldn't be comfortable in, but she did such a great job of getting to know me and my objectives that her suggestions were really doable but still make a big difference in how I look and feel. I also like that she doesn't just focus on buying new pieces, but gives you great advice for working with what you already have. The process is very efficient, and leaves you with the right stuff, but also a ton of ideas on how to put things together. I think I actually have fewer clothes now thanks to the closet cleanout, but many many more outfit possibilities. Thank you Susan!

Susan is a miracle worker. In one short afternoon she completely revamped my wardrobe. She is warm, efficient, and has a great sense of style. Moreover she is a teacher, I shop now with a lot more confidence because I have Susan's tips and suggestions and I know what colors and styles are most flattering to me and what will compliment my existing wardrobe. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $150 per hour and if the client chooses to have me create a personal LOOK BOOK (in the form of a private, online web album), I charge $300 for that. HOWEVER, it is up to each client to determine how best to use the hours that they hire me for. Maybe they enjoy shopping and just need me to help them in their closet. Maybe their closet is empty and doesn't need organizing, but they are desperate for new clothes and need help in the stores. I can do whatever is necessary for each client, within the time frame and budget s/he sets for me.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I spent many years in retail. Ultimately, I realized that I had an interest in styling as well as a passion for it...and I also came to realize that I have knowledge to share that is actually valuable to people. So I decided to build a business on that foundation.
