I've been playing tennis for 35 years and after one lesson with Christian I realized I didn't actually know how to hit a forehand! We spent an entire hour taking my stroke down to the studs and rebuilding it from scratch. What felt completely counter-intuitive at the beginning of the lesson suddenly clicked and by the end I was hitting shots I didn't think I was capable of. The transformation in 60 minutes was quite frankly...shocking. If you're looking for the college kid here for a summer at the private club who is going to feed you balls and say "nice follow through" this is not the lesson for you. Christian can see exactly what is holding you back and explain it in a way that makes sense and then get your body to actually do it. I've played at clubs and even tennis camps throughout my life and never experienced anything remotely close to this level of coaching. Like, at one point I was literally holding a pool noodle to ensure my stance was correct. The best compliment I can give is that I walked onto the court feeling like an experienced player and walked off feeling like I'd just been introduced to the game for the first time. Words genuinely don't do it justice. Part of me wants everyone to know how incredible he is and part of me wants to keep him a secret so I can have him all to myself!! I'm completely hooked and already counting down to my next lesson.

My daughter started taking tennis lessons with Christian over the summer as a complete beginner. After less than a year of lessons, she just made her high school tennis team, which we truly credit in large part to his coaching.
He places a strong emphasis on proper technique and form, which has built a strong foundation in the game. His lessons are challenging and engaging. He is encouraging and has built up her confidence on the court. He clearly cares a lot about helping his students develop as players.
