What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Speaking engagements are negotiable. I factor in such things as size and scope of the organization, audience size, time commitment for preparation and delivery, and travel. I can also make adjustments based on if my book can be available for sale, whether professional recording of the presentation will be available, and if I can package my services (For instance: a keynote plus a breakout session might come in lower than contracting each separately) Health Coaching is a standard cost: $75/month for online coaching with Skype support.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have an opening conversation about the hopes and expectations the customer has. This includes everything from programming, to scheduling, to budget (if applicable). I am flexible and accommodating, but I can only offer that if I have a good starting point!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read and study constantly. I am truly one of those life-long learners. I take professional development courses whenever possible and refer back and network frequently with experts in my field.
