In addition to French cooking, the Chef is well- versed in all areas of special cooking; Macrobiotic,Vegan, Gluten-free, as well as cooking for those with Diabetes, Heart conditions etc.. This means we are totally hands on from the top down,covering every detail of your function, nothing is farmed out. My introduction and referral of Nina was through my dear sister,whose second baby shower I was planning. My initial go to catering service had closed their business and I was in a pinch in regards to deadline to get the food menu/preparations organized. I am thankful for this food expert/private chef angel Nina.From our first correspondence,I was assured that this event/shower would be great and indeed it was! She was very humble in her attentiveness to what my plans,ideas were for the event and gave her own,that would enhance the menu and also assisting with rental items,which I was grateful for.Certainly,her flexibility,warmth and professionalism was a welcome asset,putting any and all our concerns at ease. She was punctual the day of event with a helper.This single chef,confident in her expertise yet exuding warmth that everyone around her,in the setting of her working space(kitchen)was drawn to. The guests at the event/shower,a small group of forty(40) were quite satiated and had positive comments about the food which I also consented to.From the appetizer to the entrees,the presentation was remarkable to say the least,leaving no room for error but a repetition when the entrees came out. Overall,I want to express my profound gratitude and appreciation to you Nina,for sharing and displaying your warmth and passion of food with us all on a blustery,cold,March 11th,2017. I recommend you and your services without hesitation! May all your endeavors be blessed!

Sabrina created a beautiful Christmas holiday formy family in 2019. There were 20 present including children with various allergies which she was very sensitive to. We started with appetizers and moved on through deserts. What made this holiday particularly challenging was that my family must have a standing rib roast with all accompaniments, my husbands family needs to have a whole roast turkey with stuffing etc. and this year we added some vegetarians. Three completely different dinners, allexcellent, served on time and most importantly maintaining good humour throughout. A selection of different appetizers including the most beautifuland bountiful cheese board Ive ever seen in my life.Her food looked like it was displayed by a food stylist.I would highly recommend hiring Sabrina. Had a great experience working with Nina. She did a wonderful job with my wedding cake and it looked and tasted great. She was willing to work with me to make some adjustments so that I could stay within my budget (as it was very tight). I was overall very happy with her work and would definitely recommend her services to others.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began my career at Gourmet Magazine as an Editorial Assistant. I then won a Grant from the International Rotary Foundation to study Classical French Cuisine. I was accepted and studied at L'Ecole de Cuisine de la Varenne in Paris. I came home and started my Personal Chef business La Jolie Chef Personal Chef Services. and the rest as they say...is history
