As a 54-year old female with a slowing metabolism and a growing waistline, I decided that it was time to make some changes to my lifestyle and to get in shape. I was referred to Danielle by someone who had trained with her before and spoke very highly of her. Although I had never worked with a trainer or been in good physical shape since being in college, I was finally ready. Danielle and I created a schedule of 2 strength training sessions each week. All of our training has been done virtually over Zoom- with me being in Maine and her being in Connecticut. I was instantly impressed with Danielle, as she knew I was out of shape and modified our workouts so that I would not get discouraged and quit. She has been patient, but always pushes me to get to the next level. We have been consistent with the workouts. They have been ramping up in difficulty and I am becoming stronger and able to get through each workout which now feels incredible! The results speak for themselves. I started feeling better and my posture improved almost immediately after our workouts. Eight weeks later, I have lost 13.8 pounds and lost 14.5 inches. I have moved into another pant size, which is incredible. I have incorporated some cardio sessions and a sensible meal plan. I expect to keep working out with Danielle and getting to the best ME that I can be. Thanks Danielle! You truly rock and have made a difference in my life!

I am a 54 year old female who prided herself as always being fit and in shape. Over the last several years, I gained about 30 pounds and I was not feeling good about myself. I found Danielle through Thumb Tack. Danielle has been able to keep me on track and consistent with workouts and healthy eating. I have lost 10 pounds and many inches over the last 6-7 weeks. Danielle is reliable, punctual, and always has different workouts in store for me so I never get bored. I went on vacation at the end of July and felt good in my own skin. I put a swimsuit on for the first time in years. Danielle keeps me motivated and I look forward to more challenging workouts It's not just about weight loss. It's more about feeling happy and self assured. Danielle has given that back to me and I am grateful.

Danielle’s workouts have been a game changer for me, especially around strength and conditioning. I have always been active in different forms of exercise (BJJ, Kickboxing, Spin, etc) but have not gotten these types of specific results. Danielle is a great coach and motivator. Her workouts are hard but always fun. She is clearly invested in her clients and always makes sure that they have what they need. Danielle is personable, adaptable and funny. She is also a humble person overall and is client centered rather than “the expert.” She comes highly recommended from me! Thank you, Danielle!

My health is a top priority, but it’s difficult for me to give it the proper attention without guidance and reinforcement. I simply do not have the time and resources to plan and implement workouts, nor can I give it 100% on my own. This is where Danielle at DSC Health & Fitness comes in. Danielle is passionate about her work and in turn, is passionate about helping me to improve my health and meet fitness goals. With in-person and virtual options, DSC Health & Fitness has been a lifesaver during the pandemic. I can confidently say that I’ve become stronger and healthier over the past year, despite so many challenges. Danielle not only demonstrates the knowledge and expertise necessary to facilitate positive change in her students, she embodies these principles and practices it in her own lifestyle. With all of this, Danielle appeals to students who are serious about their health and willing to put in the work. I have made good friends through this group and they have helped to inspire me and reinforce my accomplishments. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My pricing may be a bit higher than other personal trainers but I travel to their home with all the necessary equipment and take the time to program specifically for their needs. I offer some packages with payment plans if need be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?The process with working with a new client is to have a 5 minute call to discuss what they are looking for. Then, if they are looking to move forward I set up a 1/2 hour visit to the clients home to check out the space and make sure we are a fit for one another. Personal connection is very important since we will be spending a good amount of time together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in the fitness industry for over 15 years. I currently have my certification through ASFA and working towards my NASM certification.
