I have been recognized as Top Chef in Connecticut for my ability to design beautiful, delicious meals. There are several aspects I love about my job. First, my true passion is cooking. Mark Vecchitto provided lunch for a teacher gathering of 25 at our school. The food was abundant and delicious! The luncheon was set up in a friendly and professional manner and enjoyed by all!

Mark and his crew prepared an amazing anniversary dinner for 10. They came to our house and, using our kitchen, created an evening my husband and I will never forget. The food was delicious-all of us agreed it was the best meal we'd ever had. In addition to preparing a fantastic meal, Mark and his wonderful crew-Charlene, April, and Michelle-provided us with warm, attentive service and were happy to share what they we doing with the foodies among us. An amazing evening! Thank you, Mark.

Chef Mark was wonderful throughout the planning process and made the day of the party a breeze! He was thoughtful in his menu construction, satisfying the picky birthday boy with ease. We loved all of the food but in particular, the jerk chicken and pulled pork won universal praise from the guests. On the day of, Mark and his assistant arrived ontime, worked around our last minute changes to the setup schedule and continued to be flexible and professional throughout the party. They also treated the kitchen and house like they were their own, cleaning as they went and leaving it tidy after the party. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Chef Mark to friends and family!

Though we have only just hired Chef Mark to cater my daughter's wedding this coming fall, he has been a pleasure to work with. He is very accommodating and knowledgeable on everything to do with catering a wedding and we are comfortable knowing we're in good hands.

    I put together events from a personal chef dinner to business gatherings to home parties to grand events such as weddings.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    There are several aspects to consider. Before all else, I consider food safety to be the most important. I am unyielding in following all guidelines. Also, any meal must be created with precision and must bring together a blend of taste and presentation that allows the client to garner the ultimate experience. My job is to take care of the menu so that you can enjoy your event.
