I love working with Rowen....so much that I came back. I took lessons with her for about 6 years and than took a 3 1/2 year break & came back. I couldn't be happier...I learn so much from her!! She has wonderful advice about life in general, very talented, and so kind. She is one of the sweetest & most patient women you will ever meet. She takes her time in the lesson, and devotes the time to her student. She is willing to go over a piece that you are working on as many times as you need to. She has patience. She has a beautiful voice. She is very helpful and makes reading music seem easy! She is very organized with her teaching, it may seem like baby steps but it is all worth it. You have to start with the basics no matter what instrument you play! Rowen is great, I use to play in her recitals she held once every year. Those were wonderful, she really knows how to make her students feel like a star. Worth every penny!!!!

Rowan taught both my children piano (and so much more) from the time they were in grade school until they each graduated from High School. Believe me, keeping a teenager interested and motivated when the world offers so many distractions is a herculean feat unto itself. Because of Rowan, my children have ( and what I am sure will continue to be) a lifelong appreciation for music.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

To successfully learn to play a musical instrument, there needs to be a certain level of commitment on both the part of the student AND the parent. It requires time, determination, and MUCH patience. But most of all, the FUN of playing music should always be foremost.
