Jillian was awesome. She kept me up to date on my baby boy with pics and let me know about any potential abnormalities she saw in his behavior. I was very happy with the service.

Dog Trainer Rebekah, is Superb with training of my dog.!! She goes over everything and shows you what to do and tells you the commands to use My biggest problem was my dog pulling me, while walking him. Today, i took a long walk with Gus and he just took his time and walked with me and didn’t pull once! I was very happy and my back was happier! I would recommend Four Legged Care for your pets needs!

My review is specifically for the FLC trainer, Liz. I have ~2yo rescue german shepherd who has her share of anxiety-based reactivity. I have worked with a few trainers over time and had mixed experience with their knowledge regarding dog behavior as well as their ability to work with the human in the dog-human team (seems being a dog trainer is also in large part being a human trainer). I had a lot of experience being talked at and not asked questions or listened to, not having my own observations about my dog taken seriously, and even experiences being antagonized for equipment choices instead of guided. It was to the point where I stopped pursuing formal training for 9 mo or so and worked with the pup on my own. We made progress but I felt I needed more expert help to take our progress to the next level.I reconnected with Four Legged Care at a time when Liz has just joined. We have only had 3 sessions so far, but I immediately connected with her, as did my pup. She is confident and knowledgeable but not dogmatic, antagonistic, or closed-minded. She listens and adjusts her approach based on information I tell her about my own observations with my pup. She leaves space for questions and answers them in a way that is approachable and manageable. I also love that she has 2 of her own very well-adjusted pups that she will sometimes incorporate into our sessions - this is something I was promised by other trainers but never really happened and something I already see my dog benefitting from.I will have to see what sort of progress we will make as it is early days, but so far I am very pleased with Liz. I trust her (important for my own anxiety and therefore for my dog's), and so does my pup. Recommend!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Four Legged Care LLC will answer all your questions about what care we provide to see if we are what you’re looking for. If things look good, we schedule a free meet and greet for you with a sitter. From there, we make sure you’re comfortable and it’s a good match!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started as a dog bather at age 16, moved into grooming and heard many unhappy pet parents about kennels, boarding, and struggling to find good care for their pets when they are away. I then created Four Legged Care LLC in 2018.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There are many people you may find willing to help your pet. Although we never expect anything to go wrong (and hope it never does!), you want the peace of mind knowing that someone watching your pets in your home is a professional. I highly suggest using a registered business that is fully insured.
