The Chess Club of Fairfield County (CCFC) was opened in the belief that chess players of all ages and backgrounds deserve an elegant home to meet one another and share a common joy. When hiring a chess coach, credentials matter. Too many teachers list themselves as "chess masters" when they are merely amateur players. A true chess Master has earned that title through tournament competitions rated by the US Chess Federation. The CCFC is fortunate to have three certified Masters on staff--out of only 16 active in the state of Connecticut.
