FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with a quick phone conversation so we can learn more about you and the details of your project. From there, we may exchange photos to get a better understanding of the space and then schedule an on-site visit when needed. Once we’ve gathered all the necessary information and seen the project firsthand, Algar Home Improvement will prepare a detailed, formal proposal and email it directly to you for review.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nate has more than 10 years of professional experience in the home improvement industry, but his hands-on education began long before that. He started learning the trades as a child, working alongside his dad and developing an early understanding of construction, repairs, and craftsmanship. As he got older, Nate continued his education by training with and shadowing experienced professional contractors. He made it a priority to learn multiple trades and understand each stage of the home improvement process—from framing and finish work to kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, tile, decks, and more. That combination of lifelong hands-on experience, professional training, and years in the field eventually led Nate to owning and operating Algar Home Improvement. Today, he continues to expand his knowledge with every project, bringing experience, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a genuine pride in his work to every customer's home.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have the pleasure of working with all types of great customers, from first-time homeowners looking to make a space their own to families remodeling their forever homes and homeowners making improvements for comfort, accessibility, or changing needs. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. At Algar Home Improvement, we believe a successful project is about more than quality craftsmanship—it’s about trust, communication, and building lasting relationships. We take the time to listen, understand each customer’s vision, and treat their home with the same care and respect we would our own. We’re incredibly grateful for every homeowner who welcomes us into their home and trusts us to be part of their project.
